פִּיוְולָאf. (fibula = pallium fibulatum, cmp. περόνημα a. πόρπαμα) clasp; a cloak fastened with clasps or buckles. Tanḥ., ed. Bub., Noah 21 נתן … טלית לשם וליפת פ׳ the Lord rewarded them, giving Shem the ṭallith (v. טַלִּית), and Japhet the pallium fibulatum; Gen.
